BEN SKOWRONEK – LA RAMS WIDE RECEIVER AND HOMESTEAD ALUMNUS OFFERS VOCAL SUPPORT!

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Ben Skowronek gave a huge shoutout to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana following this year’s Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser.

“It’s truly awesome that you guys had such an open hand at giving at such a young age to leave a legacy for generations to come. What you’ve done is awesome but remember to finish strong and get the ball in the end zone!”

A Fort Wayne native, Ben attended Homestead High School and was named first-team All-Indiana as a senior, when he also earned the positional Mr. Indiana Football award.

As a graduate student, Ben played for Notre Dame, where he finished the season with 29 catches for 439 yards and five touchdowns. It wasn’t long before Ben was drafted for the Los Angeles Rams, where he signed his four-year rookie contract in May 2021. In Super Bowl LVI, Ben had two receptions for 12 yards and joined his team in a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“If you haven’t given yet, make sure you give to such a great cause, because it can help change the lives of others,” said Ben. “And remember: have fun!”
