NBA star Brad Miller to host charity golf event to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters
Fort Wayne, IN – Chicago Bulls basketball star, Team USA player, and former Little Brother Brad Miller will host a charity golf event to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. The 6th Annual Brad Miller Golf Outing will tee-off on Monday, September 14th, 2009, at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville, Indiana. Brad will hold a press conference the day of the event. A silent auction, open to the public and free of charge, and play will be followed by a post-outing banquet and live auction.

In 1985, eight-year-old Brad was matched with Big Brother Dewey Forbes in Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring program. Although their official match in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program ended when Brad turned eighteen, their relationship remained strong as Brad’s basketball career advanced him from Purdue University to the Sacramento Kings.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nonprofit organization that serves children in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley counties in Indiana and Branch, Hillsdale and St. Joseph counties in Michigan.
