What Is Big Brothers Big Sisters?
An organization that matches qualified men, women ,
and couples to boys and girls ages 7 to 16 living primarily in one parent
families.
What other volunteer opportunities exist?
First Friends, Sports Buddies, summer programs,
special events, and fund raisers are all possibilities for volunteer
involvement.
What is your first friends program?
A volunteer can meet with children on the waiting list
two to three hours per month at agency sponsored activities.
What are my choices about the child I will be matched with?
You tell us what age, race, and location that you feel
most comfortable with and we will match your interest, needs and personality.
What if I have problems in my match?
Professional
staff assist the Big Brother, Big Sister or Big Couple and provide support,
guidance, and suggestions for the child's development. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
How do I get started?
There are many children of different needs and
backgrounds currently waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. You
