In 2004, Big Brothers Big Sisters was proud to welcome back former Little Brother and current Sacramento Kings basketball star, Brad Miller.
The 4th Annual Brad Miller Golf Outing was held on Monday, September 10th, 2007, at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville, Indiana. Over 300 community members attended the Golf Outing, Banquet & Auction and helped raise over $ 44,000 for our organization. On behalf of all the children, volunteers and staff, we appreciate and thank Brad Miller for giving back to his community and our agency. This year’s auction featured sports memorabilia, including items autographed by Brad Miller. Premier auction items included a trip for two to Sacramento, CA to any Kings game (excluding the Lakers), four tickets & hotel stay to the Sacramento Kings vs. Indianapolis Pacers game in Indianapolis, and a basketball autographed by all members of Team USA.
Big Brothers Big Sisters strives to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable impact. We are committed to providing quality mentoring programs that are proven to make a difference in the lives of our local youth.
