First Friends

 

First Friends is a program for children on the Big Brothers Big Sisters waiting list. The goal of First Friends is to keep waiting list children engaged with our agency and involved in positive activities. There are several First Friends events each month in Allen County and typically one event per quarter in the outlying counties.

 

Each month, our First Friends Coordinator sends a newsletter full of the month’s activities. Kids earn points depending on which activity they choose to attend. Matches also are invited to participate in these events. First Friends events include museum trips, pizza parties, gardening, movie nights, arts and craft events, trips to the zoo, sporting events, and much more.
