Do it Best Announces The Big DONation – A Fund Drive to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana

On Tuesday, June 18th, Do it Best announced the Big DONation Fund Drive in honor of Don Wolf and his commitment to serving others. In 1972, Don brought Big Brothers Big Sisters to the Fort Wayne area and now Do it Best is paying it forward in a Big way.

Today marks co-founder Don Wolf’s 90th birthday. To honor his legacy, Do It Best will match all donations to BBBS from June 18th to October 18th up to $90,000. Join us in celebrating our founder and his legacy while equipping BBBS to continue defending the potential of local children. Mayor Tom Henry also declared June 18th Don Wolf Day in a tribute to his standing legacy.

Don Wolf Bio

Former long-time CEO of Do it Best Corporation, was responsible for bringing Big Brothers Big Sisters to Northeast Indiana in 1972. Under Wolf’s direction, Do It Best Corp underwent a sustained growth and expansion. Wolf has been a devoted supporter and benefactor of Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a past board president on both local and national levels. He has also been a prominent community leader in starting charitable organizations throughout the Indiana. Wolf is a two-time recipient of the state of Indana Sagamore of the Wabash award in 1994 and 1995, given to individuals dedicated to helping kids in need. In 2013, Wolf also received the Sachem Award, Indiana’s highest individual honor, in recognition for his lifelong dedication to giving back to his community.
